In the article, "Greek Gods", it explains how the beliefs and history of the greek gods and mythology have an impact on how society is today. Greek mythology has shaped and influenced many well know works of paintings, music literature, and theater. The article expains that "the influence of Greek mythology and the ancient Greek gods shows no sign of diminishing". Even today it is still being used in new technology such as computer games and motion pictures as a back drop for a quest which also shows moral input.
I thought this article was pretty thought provoking. I never actually thought about the fact that a lot of movies and video games have a backdrop of greek descent. It also put into prospective how Greek Mythology has shaped the arts of this world. The fact that Greek Mythology is still being used in our society today, shows just how much of an impact that it has had in the lives and ways of everyone.
